Terms of Use

QuitClock · Effective June 10, 2026

By installing or using QuitClock, you agree to these terms.

1. What QuitClock is

QuitClock is a behavioural coaching app that helps you reduce smoking gradually, on a personalised schedule, until your chosen quit date.

QuitClock is not a medical app, not a medical device, and is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice. The schedules, milestones, and messages in the app reflect a gradual-reduction model based on information you supply. They are not tailored to any individual's health condition.

If you have a medical condition — including but not limited to heart disease, lung disease, pregnancy, mental health conditions, or substance dependence — please consult a qualified healthcare professional before using QuitClock or making changes to your smoking habits.

2. Use at your own risk

You use QuitClock voluntarily, at your own discretion and risk. Quitting smoking can affect your physical and mental health. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the QuitClock developer is not liable for any direct or indirect harm arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to relapse, withdrawal effects, missed reminders, or any other outcome.

3. Age requirement

QuitClock is intended for users aged 18 or older. By using QuitClock, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

4. Your responsibility

5. Notifications

QuitClock schedules local notifications on your device. These rely on your phone delivering them at the right time. If your phone is off, in Do Not Disturb / Focus mode, low on battery, or has notifications disabled for QuitClock, you will not receive them. We are not responsible for missed notifications.

6. Local data

QuitClock stores all your data locally on your device. We do not back it up. If you uninstall the app, change phones, or restore from a backup that doesn't include the app's data, your QuitClock history will be lost. You are responsible for any data you wish to preserve.

7. Sharing

When you share a milestone card from QuitClock to another app (WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.), the content you share leaves your phone via that app's mechanisms and is subject to that app's terms and privacy practices. QuitClock has no control over what happens after you share.

8. Intellectual property

The QuitClock name, the Sprig character, the Countdown ring icon, the visual design, and the in-app copy are owned by the QuitClock developer. You may not copy or reuse them outside the app without written permission.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above will be revised when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
